Job | Boyfriend | PsycoCat

Looking for a job and taking care of the house have been my main focuses in the past months. Since I didn't finish school yet, it becomes even harder to find employment, specially due to the global social and economic crises but also because of history, of course. Having, keeping or finding a job can be really hard these days.

Take my boyfriend, John, as an example. He finished all his school stuff as he was supposed to and then enrolled in higher education to further develop his passion and talent. Has been almost two years since the end of his internship and he still doesn't have a job. I mean John is a freelancer which means he works from time to time in different projects, but still, that's not a regular and comfortable source of income. Because of that he has been deprived of many things regarding his career (and dreams). Also the world is missing out because John is seriously talented at what he does and even though he's just starting his career John's portfolio is growing and getting better and better. One of his ideas for the near future is to open his own business in his field. Although that's a great idea and I support him 100%, I know part of that idea comes from the fact that no one is hiring these days, which makes it hard for everyone, but speaking from my experience and point of view, is really hard to start from nothing, specially, with lack of support.

Right now from my bedroom I'm hearing these strange birdlike sounds that, even though I'm sitting by an open window, I'm almost certain that come from inside the house. I have to do further investigation. It's pretty possible, my cat, V, brings home all sorts of birds and reptiles. He plays with them until he pleases and then he offers them to me, dead or alive. Sometimes I see him in time to save the poor creatures. Most times I don't. And most times they come already dead and are placed by my bedside or at my feet (it depends if I'm sleeping or not). You know what they say, if you want to know psychopath look at a cat's behavior. I really appreciate and love cats...

Also today I'm happy because I just discovered that the new season of Orphan Black came out. I'm really excited to see the first episode.
